SOUTHEND POETRY NO 42
This is the 42nd anthology of poems from the members of Southend Poetry Group.
The anthology has been published annually since 1985.
Although called Southend Poetry there is no limit to the subjects of poems submitted. The poems are wide-ranging in style. In this edition, the work of 14 poets in two dozen poems reflect their various interests and concerns. Some poets have been publishing in anthologies (not just this one) for years, others are newcomers.
The poets come from a variety of backgrounds and have found in Southend Poetry Group, a place to meet with those who have a similar interest in the craft of writing poetry.
Southend Poetry No 42 includes mini biographies on the contributing poets.
Southend Poetry Group meets monthly in Southend.
